Well, female leaders in my country Korea have been few and far between. I would like to use this opportunity to talk about our former president called Park geun- Hye. If my memory serves me right, she is the only female president my country has ever had since independence. Mrs Park was the president of Korea for over 3 years. In terms of her personality, when she took over power, she was seen as a dynamic lady with lots of expectations for women's rights in Korea because our society is still somewhat male dominated. Unfortunately, her tenure as president was shortlived because she was convicted of fraud, corruption and other malpractices and sentenced to prison.
Though, she is now serving her prison terms, if I have the chance I would still like to meet Mrs Park face-to-face to know from her how she managed to become the first female president of Korea. Besides that, it would be interested to get first hand information on what actually made her fall from grace to grass. In fact Mrs park’s plight has divided opinions in Korea So, this is a female leader I would like to meet if given the chance to do so.
